About Us

Emmalani Hawaiian Quilts was established in the year 2004 where the founder, Emma Ceberano was introduced to the world of hawaiian quilt making by her hawaiian friend, LaVerne Bessert, who had traveled to the Philippines several times to learn where the "master quilters" produced their exquisite quilt work. It is managed by her youngest daughter, Racquel Supan, who is passionate to continue the business and her mother's advocacy. Their goal has always been to provide an income stream for the indigenous women involved in the quilt making process in the Philippines' northern highland districts. They also make their exquisite product available to you at a reasonable cost. Needless to say, these same quilts are still available at numerous Hawaiian merchandise stores today at prices ranging from $800-$3,500.
